Steam Section
We expect around 30 engines this year. A mixture of Showmans, Agricultural, Rollers & others. Several engines will be located in the working area powering a stone crusher, threshing drum etc. many of the remaining engines will be taking part in the programme of events during the afternoons activities. Engine owners & crew will be pleased to answer any questions which visitors may have.
Commercial Vehicles
A good selection of commercial vehicles ranging from Vans up to Agricultural Lorries. As we do not have a section for Military Vehicles (mv) this section includes MV's as well as buses.
Bicycles & Motorcycles
Not the biggest section on the Rally Field but of great interest. Everything from pedal cycles to powered tricycles via mopeds, scooters and motorcycles will be available for viewing.
Oil Engines
An interesting selection of many models of oil engines is expected this year. Many will be driving equipment to show visitors how the little engines might have been used during their working lives.
Cars
Around 120 cars are due this year including, we hope, models from the veteran, vintage & post vintage eras. There should be something for all car enthusiasts to enjoy & some specials.
Miniature Steam
Have you ever wanted a Steam Engine but haven't got the space ? These are the answer, being scale models of their larger brothers and sisters. They all work in the same way, coal & water to make steam, & for their size are very strong. You will be amazed!
Tractors
We have a selection of tractors from veteran tractors such as the International Titan to classic tractors such as the Ford and Massey Ferguson.
Fairford is located on the A417 between Cirencester and Lechlade in Gloucestershire. Rally car parking is clearly signed from both main approaches to Fairford
